About Heather Wallander

Heather Wallander didn’t set out to start a company—she set out to survive.
After more than a year of speaking up about bias, retaliation, and discrimination at a major tech company, she was finally promoted. But the promotion came quietly, with no accountability, no apology, and no end to the retaliation. Days later, Heather resigned—not because she wanted to walk away, but because staying meant risking her mental health, her future, and her values.
Then she did something big: she told the truth. Her resignation post went viral, striking a nerve with thousands of workers who had lived through the same gaslighting, isolation, and silence. Heather realized what she experienced wasn’t rare—it’s routine. 91% of U.S. workers report some form of discrimination, and most workplace misconduct is never addressed.
So in late 2024, Heather turned that viral moment into a mission. She founded JustiProof, a digital platform that helps people document what’s happening at work, understand their rights, and build a case—if they choose to. It’s everything she needed but couldn’t find: a self-protection toolkit for when “the process” turns out to be PR.
JustiProof isn’t about fixing HR—it’s about giving power back to the people HR fails. And it’s not just tech. Across industries, employees are forced to choose between silence or survival. Heather’s work makes space for a third option: clarity, documentation, and a plan.
She’s also building something deeper. In 2025, Heather launched the JustiProof Support Circle—a space for people to share, reflect, and connect. It’s not a movement. It’s something quieter, but just as powerful: community.
Heather believes no one should have to go through this alone. She’s here to offer what she never got: proof that you’re not crazy, you’re not alone, and you can do something about it.
